November 4th - Season 1

It's Going Down Town

After two attempts at staging a pay-per-view in the down town Ngelosi City area, Club President Moodswing was proud to announce that the upcoming PPV would be taking place in down town Ngelosi.

When F-X reporters asked Moodswing for a statement, here’s what he had to say. “We’re quite happy with this result. Formula-X and the Azania Municipality were able to come together and make magic happen and we look forward to putting on a show like only F-X can.”

When we later approached Club Vice President, Glenwood Jacobs about the possible design of the track for the upcoming PPV, he remained tight-lipped saying that “you’ll have to wait and see just like everybody else.”

However Glen was far less tight-lipped when we asked him about the intrigue and unique atmosphere of  having a down town track.

“Well there’s nothing like racing on roads that are almost exclusively congested by rush hour traffic. That surreal feeling of going at over 200 kilometers per hour past sky scrapers and hotels and bus stops and train stops through one-way tunnels going in the opposite direction. There’s not  a feeling like it.”

Well it looks like the upcoming PPV will be something to behold. With an exciting feature race for the Formula-X Crown; a relay race for the Formula-X Relay Baron titles and the first ever One-KM Derby between John Kloof and Jim Kieck, the introduction of one of the most anticipated tracks could lead this to be the best PPV in the Formula-X  series.
