DID THE FESTIVAL FALL BELOW EXPECTATION?

Summer has ended and what a way to end it. The Festival of the Fall broke in Autumn in style with a thrilling PPV that saw 2 epic 3-way races and a festival that tore the roof down.

It was a party that could have put the French Quarter’s Mardi Gras to shame as it had everything, food drinks, music, dancing, live performances and even a carnival-like set up for kids.

While we’re sure that the Commissioners were holding their collective breaths to find out if they’d turned a profit, as we predicted, the event was a smash hit success.

While it is still too early to say how much of a success the event was, it has been stated by various members of the Club Committee that while the PPV ticket sales were a major profit, the festival itself was an even bigger success, eclipsing even Hallow’s Eve trick or treat event.

We F-X reporters wonder if the members of the Club Committee will take notice of the profit they got from these after-parties and start looking into hosting more of them.

Of course, at the end of the day, Formula-X is about racing and will always be about racing and the last thing we want to see is the series turning into an event-hosting company.
