F-X reporter, Toney Kunene decided to do something that has never been done before: interview someone that was not a member of Formula-X. Tonight, she interviewed society darling, Rebecca Msomi.
After telling Toney how she came to meet Thawn at a friend’s party and that they were just friends, Rebecca explained that Thawn had expressed his intentions with her and she hadn’t said no because of his status.

“I guess at the time I felt that it was better to be with someone important.”
When Toney asked her why she left him for Jim Kieck, she said, “Jim is fun and I hadn’t had a lot of fun lately. I think I’ve been focusing on the wrong thing when it comes to guys.”
While she wanted to know more about her relationship with Jim Kieck and how it was going, Toney went on to remind us that “Jim will always be a player and I am not one of those girls who thinks that a guy should change now that we’re together. So I guess I’m at the ‘we’ll-see-how-it-goes’ stage and take it from there.”
While it was great to hear that Rebecca didn’t regret anything she’d done, we do wonder if it was at all worth it to leave Thawn for someone where her future wasn’t even certain. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
