UNDER THE HOOD

The Shosholoza

After the announcement that saw Mandla elevated to being King Thorne’s next opponent once again, we decided to have a chat to him about his motivations and his engine: the SHOSHOLOZA.

“The Shosholoza gets it’s name from the iconic South African song that is strongly associated with trains and rightly so because my engine is as powerful as a train and can barrel through anything.”

He went on to say that the engine’s association with trains didn’t end there as the yellow, green and grey vehicle shared it’s colors with his political party which in turn shares them with Metrorail.

Mandla went on to open up about his motivations and what his loss at the Year End Bash meant. “I don’t want to make excuses. Instead I want to rally my followers into believing in more. Because this is what it’s about: working hard for what you truly want. And I promise you, my hard work will pay off. To King Thorne, I say I’m coming for you and this is not over.”

These were strong words from ‘the one-man opposition’ and we can’t wait to see him in action again.
