A STORY THAT WRITES ITSELF

As it turns out, the King was right. The rivalry between him and John Kloof has etched itself a narrative and that narrative reads: A Powerful King takes on a Family Man.

As the days count down, the F-X fan base has been very active in arguing who would be the victor come the 31st of May. Out of that argument has come a common thread: Mandla Xulu is the powerful ruling King who is looking to plow through the Claimant  in his fearsome Shosholoza while John Kloof is simply a man trying to provide for his family and looking to use his Big Boot to climb his way to the top all in an effort to provide the best life for the ones he loves.

While some believe that this is why Kloof will win indicating that David did slay Goliath, others point out that King Mandla is just too powerful a threat and a proven ’warrior’ which is why he would take the victory — with ease too.

We at F-X.com could not have written this story any better even if we sensationalized it ourselves. And it’s telling that while conventional storytelling would tell you that King Mandla is indeed the villain in this particular instance, there are still those who support him. And this is what F-X is all about: the combination of entertaining narratives and old fashioned sportsmanship.
