LAYING THE STAKES (PART II)

F-X reporters managed to  hold a ‘live-video chat’ on the story feature on F-X social media where we got Jim Kieck, John Kloof and his wife Debra to elaborate on the stunning turn of events.

During the ‘live chat’, Jim Kieck expressed his discomfort with Debra staking herself for the Derby which she — in an interesting twist of fate taunted him by asking if he was a chicken. While Jim explained that he was all for entertainment, he didn’t want his victory to be tainted by accusations of him making her his love slave.

Debra was quick to respond by saying that  no one said anything about love. She went on to say that “if by some miracle you were to win, this date would not involve love. There will be no falling in it or making of it.” She then went on to say that there are dates that don’t involve romance to which Jim seemed confused by.

While it had been noted in the comments section that Kloof had been awfully quiet during the chat, he did end up having the final word by saying no matter what happened, him and his wife would continue to go strong. For the first time we were left speechless as to what we hoped to see come
