The Candyfloss
“No other engine has ever, ever outperformed The Candyfloss in any big race situation.”
Those were the words spoken by former #1 Claimant to the Formula-X title in last night’s episode of Monday Night Fuel. While we are not sure if those words still stand after Mandla Xulu’s dominant performance in the feature-race of that night which included her, there is no doubt that when it comes to feature-racers, Darcy Stevens deserves her spot on the racecard.
Stevie told us that she genuinely hates the color pink and while the engine itself has definitely grown on her since she first drove it, the color never has.
She went on to say that she named it Candyfloss because it’s one of her favorite treats and probably the only pink thing she could ever stand which has now been passed onto the engine.
The Candyfloss has proven to be a mean machine able to survive a beating in a drag race and pull off a victory 2 weeks later.
