The By-Line

A Sports Opera that follows the lives of the F-X racers that participate
in high octane races every Monday night in the City of Ngelosi.

A TALE OF CURSES AND WHISPERS

While the feature-race of the night went to the talented Solo Magubane and his opponent Stevie, it was without a doubt that the race of the night went to Touch Mkhize vs. Styles Sithole.

The race had it all: skill & technique; style & charisma and a relentless pace that kept the audience in attendance on the edge of their seats. While expectations lay with Touch to take it since he had been on the racecard of Arbor Games unlike Styles who was on reserve, the race actually proved to be tight.

As it turns out, a drag race takes it’s toll on an engine and racing a day later  is considered a bad idea but The Moyeni pulled out the win but not without earning it.

Styles played to his strengths… and to the crowd by pulling off amazing power drifts and using drafting techniques that wouldn’t be out of place in NASCAR. It’s clear now that this is the kind of race fans want to see most.
