THE HONOR OF BEING DUKE

Ever since the announcement of  the new title, the Duke of Drag, F-X social media has been abuzz about the stature of the title. So we went to none other than Glen Jacobs to get our questions answered.

“The biggest motivation for creating this particular title was directly due to  the race between Touch and Stevie which has since been called iconic. It was so iconic in fact that we were more than willing to have Touch and Stevie face off for the title without having them fight for the shot. However they both declined: Stevie because she wanted to pursue the Formula-X Crown and Touch because he felt that he needed to earn the shot like everybody else.”

Glen went on to explain that like a Duke being ranked below a King, so is this title although this is due to it being exclusive to drag racing unlike the F-X Crown which can be defended in any type of race.

We look forward to seeing this race as we’re sure are all the fans.
