The Big Boot
After Moodswing set the feature-race of the night between Solo Magubane and John Kloof, F-X reporters managed to catch up with John Kloof before the show down to get his thoughts about being in the feature-race and learn more about his engine.
“Look, I’ve been in the feature-race before but as part of relay team. Tonight it’s different for two reasons: one, I’m on my own and two, I get to face off with one of the best racers in the series. So I’m definitely looking to prove myself tonight.”
When we asked for details on The Big Boot and if the events of Arbor Day had taken it’s toll, Kloof assured us that they hadn’t. “The Big Boot has had 8 days off and I can assure you that it’s not only ready but eager to purr it’s engine.”
As for the name, Kloof told us that he looked for a name that pretty much invoked the over-simplified look of the vehicle which was ‘enough said’.
