The Abominable Seduction
After a stunning display of skill and cunning, we managed to catch up with feature-racer Solo Magubane get a look inside what goes into being one of the best the Formula-X has to offer.
“When it comes to being the best I have to give credit where it’s due and that to the designer of that beautiful machine called The Abominable Seduction. There’s nothing on the planet that moves like that beauty.”
We asked Solo if he believed that he has an advantage due to his time primarily with Auto 1. “I actually think my time with Auto 1 doesn’t actually give me that much of an advantage on the Fuel Speedway. Mostly because racing here is nothing like racing at Auto 1.” When we asked him if that meant one was better, he said that was like comparing boxing to wrestling and left it at that.
We asked him to give us more about how he prepares for upcoming races, Solo told us that he keeps it simple and puts everything into the three hours he’s given at the Clubhouse track.
