TALKING WITH TOUCH

Popularity Contest

During last night’s installment of Talking with Touch right after Monday Night Fuel, Touch decided to tackle the ‘touchy’ subject of popularity. Touch claimed he wanted the fans to have an understanding of his world.

Touch went on to say that in F-X, the only people that make it are those that make an impact. He said whether it was with their big mouths or with their uncompromising skills on the blacktop, if an F-X racer wants to make it, he has to get the fan base talking about him.

Touch then went on to say that while an F-X racer can get by on popularity as it will afford you countless opportunities, without the skill to back it up, you’ll end up playing Reserve season after season.

And true to his controversial nature, Touch pointed to Styles Sithole and JVZ as two of the most popular F-X racers on the roster but who almost never appear on a PPV racecard.

We’ll have to wait and see what the fallout to this is.
