TOP BILLING

It has not gone unnoticed that the marketing team behind almost all of the advertising for Monday Night Fuel — apparently promotion for PPV is outsourced — seems to follow an intriguing pattern.
Whenever there’s a race that has hype attached to it, it seems the marketing team always bills the race with a phrase. And in a twist on everything that has come before, this time it seems to be based on boxing tropes rather than wrestling.

However despite giving races a name in the same vain as giving boxing matches a name, there is a clear difference. Where boxing is not afraid to place emphasis on who is versing whom, the F-X series is more concerned with the billing feeling like a title of a medieval story or fantasy novel.
While this does seem strange on the surface, upon deeper inspection, it fits quite well with the theme of the titles.

While we ourselves are not immune to creative titles for our articles, we can certainly say that they are more so.
