BEHIND THE TITLE

The Formula-X Grand Prix

It tells a story when it’s not just one person that says it, but a thousand. They all asked one question and that question was: why is it called a Grand Prix?

The Formula-X Series has seen many pay-per-views all with their own unique theme and feel. And what seemed to fascinate fans and critics alike was that not only were these PPVs unique unto each other, they were also unique in the world of motorsport.

Open-wheeled motorsport the world over is known for 2 things: championships races and more than half of them are called grand prix. So it was strange to discover that the biggest PPV on the F-X Calendar was also going to be called a Grand Prix.

Lucky enough, Moodswing was able to explain the use of this mundane title. “We’re trying to go back to the beginning and bring back that sense of awe and grandeur to those two words.” The Club President went on to explain that he felt that by having multiple PPVs that were very different to the Grand Prix would make it special when they eventually used it.

While the jury is still out with the fans, we at F-X.com can say that we can certainly see what they meant by making it stand out.

And lets be honest, could there be any other title more appropriate to be the Granddaddy of the all?
