The Coaster
Before he made news by accepting John Kloof’s challenge last night, we caught up with Juan van Zonder during the week to find out more about him and the engine known as The Coaster.
“The Coaster is a spiritual machine, dude. It’s like, I don’t know, a person that died has been reincarnated.” We gave the F-X racer a look which he was quick to noticed. “Oh I know you’re doubting me dude but look, there is no other way to describe the attitude it has on that Speedway. It’s mean.”
While we definitely could not deny how mean it was, it was clear that we were not going to get anywhere regarding the inner-workings of the engine. We asked JVZ what he thought about the Formula-X series so far and what he thinks he’ll be able to achieve in the long run.
“Well dude, I think I’m going to be one of the great ones here on Monday Night Fuel. You know, people have made a lot of comparisons between Fuel and wrestling. And now that I’m here, they’ve made a lot of comparisons between me and a certain high-flying wrestler. Well if that’s the case, I have no problem becoming ‘Mister Monday Night’.”

While we’re sure that’s going to end up in an infringement case for sure, we couldn't help but be amused by F-X’s newest edition and hope that he can live up to it.
