Not having graced us with his presence since he was called King, Thawn Oberhauser came out victorious and as such booked himself a spot on PPV — having not featured in a PPV since Heart-Attack.
We asked Thawn how it felt to win after not managing to do so in a long time. “I’m not going to deny that I’ve been on a bit of a downward spiral since my Crown was taken from me but I think I proved tonight that I’m ready to bounce back.
We asked him if this had anything to do with his alliance with Stevie. “No look, what Stevie and I have is a mutual understanding of what the most important thing is in this series and we know what we have to do to get it.” He went on to say that she’s a bright young woman and a good racer but at the end of the day, they both understand that there can only be one.
While we are not sure what exactly this means, we know that it could signal trouble in the future for whomever wears the Crown.
