September 30th - Season 1

CORONATION OF THE KING

“AND THE NEEEEWWW FORMULA-X KING…” Those were the words that boomed across Ngelosi as the winner of the Royal Tourney and of the F-X Crown crossed the finish line. Like something only worthy of pay-per-view the crowd was on their feet cheering as Thorne Oberhauser came out victorious over Solo Magubane.

It had been a long and grueling race as the two competitors faced off in the F-X series’ first ever 20 Lap Match Race. While many expected the longer-then-usual race to be a boring affair in the later laps, nothing could have proved more false.

Like an action-packed movie, the race flowed from beginning to middle to end like a theater performance. With the connections to wrestling being more abundantly clear on the day, it was fascinating to see the two F-X racers put on the racing equivalent of top wrestling match all without a script.
After the race, Thorne Oberhauser took his rightful place on the throne that had been placed atop the podium (in place of the customary 1st place position) and was awarded the golden racing helmet known as the Formula-X crown.

While ARBOUR GAMES boasted Thorne’s success, he would continue the festivities on Monday Night Fuel when he had himself coronated right in the middle of the infield and made a speech that once again had all the hallmarks of a wrestling promo.
