King of All the Lands

This past week saw something that had never happened before in Formula-X history. King Mandla Xulu was invited to TopTV to have an interview.

Usually, this close to a pay-per-view, we’d tell you about the circuit that the racers will be driving on. But instead, we decided to share on this groundbreaking development. The interview occurred on Friday and was aired on the channel: Top Sport.

While the interview didn’t cover anything we hadn’t heard before, it was significant for a number of reasons. The first one was that the terms used by Formula-X were respected and not ridiculed.

Mandla was referred to as King and not a champion. PPVs were referred to by name and not just silly copies of wrestling formats. And the manner in which races were conducted were treated as serious methods of racing and not offshoots of go-karting.

In a fashion that only Mandla could, the King managed to convey the essence of F-X racing including why it will always be considered sports entertainment and not simply sports and why it did have a place in the world.

Following the interview, King Mandla was seen with Moodswing who thanked him for gracefully opening up more doors for the F-X series and asked him what his ambitions were as King. Mandla was quick to say the only thing that could make his reign better was meeting the real King of the Zulus.
