Who Holds the Crown after Show-Down?

King Thorne reigns supreme after yet another successful title defense  at Show-Down. Twenty-four hours later on Monday Night Fuel, King Thorne took to the stage following a chorus of boos which he was quick to take exception to. He explained that he read a lot of the comments on F-X social media about his race and saw that most of them weren’t about the race itself but rather about  the frequency of his races on Monday Night Fuel.

“Quite frankly as King I shouldn’t have to appear at all until pay-per-view but I do anyway. So I think that you guys should be grateful."

He went on to say that  he’s addressed this issue directly by saying that he won’t be on Fuel for the next two weeks and will appear again at the next PPV which he announced as the YEAR END CELEBRATION.

We would find out later that King Thorne had not been authorized to announce the title of the next PPV and that in fact the title he’d announced had only been a working title and that they had instead decided to call it the YEAR END BASH.

King Thorne would also respond to one of the most talked about moments of the night: the challenge laid down by newcomer, Mandla Xulu, saying that if he wanted a shot at his Crown, he’d have to go to the back of the line.

We would find out later from Glenwood Jacobs that  King Thorne had been correct as the feature-race of the night was going to be Mandla Xulu going up against Darcy Stevens.
